引言：

一、引领（V1-2）

以色列人经历神引领他们走出埃及，四十年在矿野漂流的生活，神引领他们进入迦南应许之地。上一代的以色列人都没有了，神让新一代的以色列人回顾，神如何引领他们列祖起誓应许的那地。

二、苦炼（V3-5）

以色列人在旷野经常过着缺乏的日子，没有水和食物。神要使以色列人知道神是他们的供应者。神苦练以色列人要知道他们心内如何，肯守祂的诫命不肯。神最终使他们蒙福长寿。

三、供应（V6-10）

神苦炼你，任你饥饿，将你和你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，神也应许以色列人最终进入流奶与蜜之地。神曾赐他们鹌鹑肉，又赐他们十二个水泉。神最终要以色列人晓得人活着不是单靠食物，乃是靠耶和华口里所出的一切话。

四、试验（V11-17）

神揭露以色列人内心的状态，以色列因牛羊加多金银增添，并因所有的全都加增， 就心高气傲，忘记耶和华他们的神。神引他们经过大而可怕的旷野，干旱无水之地。神就藉此试验他们，看他们在苦难中是否信靠神。

五、管教（V18-207）

神管教以色列人，好像人管教儿子一样。神灭绝迦南地的人是因着他们最大恶极，神警戒以色列人不要效法迦南人犯罪：你们若忘记耶和华你们的神，随从别神，侍奉敬拜，你们必定灭亡；这是我今日警戒你们的。

总结：

摩西提醒以色列人纪念神的引导，在旷野神引领他们，苦炼他们，试验他们，供应他们，管教他们。如今他们新一代的以色列人，不单要纪念神的引导，还要顺服祂的引导，迦南美地便是他们的。

Deuteronomy 8: Recalling God’s grace

Introduction:

1. Leading (V1-2)

The Israelites experienced God leading them out of Egypt, forty years of wandering in the wilderness, and God leading them into the Promised Land of Canaan. The previous generation of Israelites were gone, and God allowed the new generation of Israelites to review how God led them to the land that their fathers had sworn to promise.

2. Hard Practice (V3-5)

The Israelites often lived in the wilderness in lack, without water and food. God wanted the Israelites to know that He was their provider. God trained the Israelites to know how they would keep His commandments in their hearts and refuse to do so. God ultimately blessed them with a long life.

3. Provision (V6-10)

God afflicted you with hunger, and gave you manna, which you and your fathers did not know, to eat, and God promised that the Israelites would finally enter a land flowing with milk and honey. God had given them quail meat and twelve springs of water. God ultimately wanted Israel to know that man does not live by food alone, but by all the words that come from the mouth of the LORD.

4. Experiment (V11-17)

God revealed the state of Israel’s heart, that because of the increase of cattle and sheep, and the increase of silver and gold, and because of the increase of all things, Israel became proud and forgot the LORD their God. God led them through a great and terrible wilderness, a dry and waterless land. By this God tested them to see whether they would trust in God in their affliction.

5. Discipline (V18-20)

God disciplined the Israelites as a man disciplines his son. God exterminated the people of the land of Canaan because they were the most wicked. God warned the Israelites not to sin after the Canaanites: Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely perish.

Conclusion:

Moses reminded the Israelites to remember God’s guidance, that in the wilderness God led them, refined them, tested them, provided for them, and disciplined them. Now they, the new generation of Israel, should not only remember God’s guidance, but also obey His guidance, and the land of Canaan will be theirs.

一、祂是忌邪的神(v1-8)

1. 当灭尽一切的偶像 (v1-5，25-26）

摩西在这里再次特别提醒百姓要拒绝偶像，不要被随从别神的恶俗所掺杂并吩咐以色列人要灭绝敌人，像献燔祭一样完全灭绝。这都是因为他们会引诱神的子民远离神，从恩典中堕落。

2. 当归神为圣洁的民 (v6-8)

神专爱以色列，拣选他们分别出来归自己，不是因为他们人数多，或者有什么可夸之处，而是因为神自己的爱和信实。我们既已经从世界分别出来的百姓，就不能再与世界、偶像掺杂，而要将心归向神。

二、祂守约施慈爱 (v9-15)

1．施慈爱到千代（v9-11）

以色列民知道并亲身经历过神的供应及拯救，神从他们列祖直到这代都守约施慈爱，恩待他们，即或他们曾悖逆不听，远离神，但神从来没有使以色列民失望过。神甚至还把律法放在以色列民中，要他们跟从，为的是要炼净他们成为属神的子民。

所以，我们要回应神，就是选择守神的诫命，使我们在约当中，享受神所要赐给我们的福！

2．蒙福胜过万民（v12-15）

神已经应许，只要谨守遵行神的诫命，神应许我们必蒙福胜过万民。因此，我们若要蒙福，得神施慈爱，就是要听从和遵行。神是守约施慈爱的神，祂必定会把所应许赐我们的福全部都给我们。

三、祂即大且可畏（v16-24）

1.牢牢记念（v16-21）

摩西告诉百姓，不要惧怕的秘诀，就是牢牢记念神在我他们身上的一切作为。如果我们准确地认识到自己在恩典中的一切经历都是神的带领，不会再惊恐。因为神做事的法则是不变的，祂必照样待我们所惧怕的一切仇敌。

2. 与神同工（v22-24）

旧世代的百姓误以为进入迦南要靠他们自己的能力，所以就窥探那地，结果就被他们所看见的又大又高的迦南人和又广大又坚固的城邑面前，心都消化了。但新世代百姓已经在38年的经历中明白，属灵的争战并不是靠人、靠势力，而是靠神。他们知道他们要与神同工，支取神的得胜。

总结：

过去以色列人因为没有真正的认识我们的神，以致他们一再的悖逆，也失去了神要给他们的应许之地的机会。因此，摩西一再的帮助新一代的以色列人认识耶和华神是一位怎样的神，为了就是不让他们重蹈覆辙，再次失去神要给他们丰盛的应许。

同样的，今天我们要得着神丰富的恩典和美福，就要认识耶和华我们的神，了解祂的属性，并要愿意谨守遵行祂的诫命！

Deuteronomy 7: Know Jehovah Your God

Introduction:

Moses repeated, “Jehovah your God,” as if to let the people really understand and know what kind of God who would lead them into the Promised Land, so that they could trust and receive what God had promised and given to them, the land of Canaan.

I. He is a God who wary of evil (v1-8)

1. Destroyed all idols (v1-5, 25-26)

Moses here again specifically reminded the people to reject idols, not to be mingled with the evil customs of following other gods and commanded the Israelites to destroy their enemies completely like burnt offerings. This is because they will lure God’s people away from God and fall from grace.

2. Be holy as God’s people (v6-8)

God loved Israel exclusively and chose them to be set apart from others for himself, not because of their quantity or anything to boast about, but because of God’s own love and faithfulness. Since we have been set apart from the world, we can no longer mix with the world and idols, but turn our hearts to God.

II. He keeps His covenant and shows mercy (v9-15)

1. Shows mercy to thousand generations (v9-11)

The Israelites knew and personally experienced God’s provision and salvation. From their ancestors to this generation, God kept His covenant, showed mercy, and treated them with grace, even if they were disobedient and distant from God, but God never disappointed the Israelites. God even put the law among the children of Israel for them to follow, to purify them to become the people of God.

Therefore, when we respond to God, we choose to keep God’s commandments, so that in the covenant, we can enjoy the blessings that God has bestowed upon us!

2. Blessed Above All Nations (v12-15)

God has promised that as long as we keep and obey God’s commandments, God promises that we will be blessed above all nations. Therefore, if we are to be blessed and receive the mercy of God, we must obey and follow. God is a covenant-keeping and loving God, and He will surely give us all the blessings that He has promised us.

III. He is great and awesome (v16-24)

1. Remember firmly (v16-21)

Moses told the people that the secret of not being afraid is to remember all that God has done to us. If we truly realise that all our experiences of grace are led by God, we will no longer be frightened. Because the law of God is unchanging, He will do the same to all our enemies that we fear.

2. Working with God (v22-24)

The people of the old generation mistakenly thought that entering Canaan depended on their own strength, so they spied the land, and as a result, they were consumed by The great and high Canaanites and the vast and fortified cities they saw. But the people of the new generation have come to realise from their 38 years of experience that spiritual warfare does not depend on man or power, but depend on God. They knew they were going to work with God to claim His victory.

Conclusion：

In the past, because the Israelites did not truly know our God, they continually rebelled and lost the opportunity of the Promised Land that God was going to give them. Therefore, Moses over and over again helped the new generation of Israelites to know what kind of God Jehovah was in order to prevent them from repeating the same mistakes and losing the rich promises God would give them.

In the same way, if we want to receive God’s rich grace and blessings today, we must know the Lord our God, understand His attributes, and be willing to obey His commandments!

申命记第6章的主题是‘全心爱神’！全心爱神的生命，有以下这些表现：

一、遵行神吩咐（V1-9）

1. 要能听从神（V1-3）

V3‘以色列啊，你要听’。原文的写法是‘听啊!以色列’，是表明神对以色列的要求。惟有听从神的吩咐，他们才能‘在那流奶与蜜之地得以享福，人数极其增多’！

2. 完全地爱神（V4-5）

神要以色列人‘听’的是‘耶和华我们的神是独一的主’！就是承认神是他们的主。所以，要‘尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华你的神’！ 爱神，就是遵行神的话；遵行就是真正地去做，而不是口头说说而已。

3. 殷勤教儿女（V6-9）

神要以色列子民除了自己全心爱神，将神的话记在心上，还要他们‘殷勤教训儿女’，让儿女也将神的话记在心上。因此不仅是言教，还要加上身教。神不是要父母唠叨讲论经文，乃是要他们在各种生活的事上指导孩子，帮助孩子熟悉经文，活出神的话，让真理生活化！

二、敬畏神的名 （V10-19）

1.不可忘记神（V10-15）

以色列子民进入应许之地，最大的试探就是饱足之后，随从当地的风俗和假神。因此神让摩西警告他们不可忘记神去随从别神，惹神发怒！

2.不可试探神 (V16-19)

摩西特别举了‘玛撒’的例子。‘玛撒’的原意就是试探。那是以色列百姓刚出埃及时，为缺水而争闹。这种试探出于不认识也不信任神。惟有坚定的信心，才能让我们不抱怨，安静而坚定的信靠神的应许，遵守神的诫命，得享神的祝福！

三、述说神恩典（V20-23）

透过向下一代述说神的作为，使我们的子孙都能够听到神奇妙的恩典，并遵行神的律例典章，活在神的祝福里！我们要常常跟孩子述说神奇妙的恩典和作为。让孩子知道我们所拥有的都从神而来！如此，我们的孩子将更能体会神的爱，愿意以敬畏喜乐的心来遵守神的旨意。

总结：

我们当尽心、尽兴、尽力爱我们的神，透过遵行神的吩咐，敬畏神的名，以及述说神的恩典。
当我们全心爱神，神将使我们常得好处，无论在顺境或逆境，我们世世代代都可以经历到神的慈爱与应许！

Deuteronomy 6: The Greatest Commandment to Love God with All Your Heart

Introduction:

The theme of Deuteronomy 6 is ‘loving God with all your heart’! The life of loving God with all your heart is manifested in these ways.

1. Follow God’s instruction

(1) To obey God (V1-3)

V3 ‘Hear, O Israel’. The original text is written ‘Hear, O Israel! Israel’, is an indication of what God requires of Israel. Only by obeying God will they ‘be blessed in the land of milk and honey, and they will multiply greatly!

(2) Love God completely (V4-5)

What God wanted Israel to ‘hear’ was ‘the LORD our God is the only Lord’! That is, to acknowledge God as their Lord. So, ‘love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength’! To love God is to obey God’s word; to obey is to actually do it, not just pay lip service to it.

(3) Teach your children diligently (V6-9)

God wanted the children of Israel to not only love God with all their hearts and take His words to heart, but also to ‘teach their children diligently’ so that they would also take His Words to heart. Therefore, not only teaching by words, but also by example. God does not want parents to nag about the scriptures, but to instruct their children in various matters of life, to help them become familiar with the scriptures, to live out the Word of God, and to make the truth come to life!

2. Fear the name of God (V10-19)

(1) Do not forget God (V10-15)

When the children of Israel entered the Promised Land, the greatest temptation was to follow the local customs and false gods after they had been satiated. Therefore, God told Moses to warn them not to forget God and follow other gods to provoke God’s anger!

(2) Do not tempt God (V16-19)

Moses specifically gave the example of ‘Massah’. The original meaning of ‘Massah’ is temptation. It was when the people of Israel first came out of Egypt and fought over the lack of water. This temptation came out of not knowing or trusting God. Only a firm faith will enable us not to complain, but to trust in God’s promises quietly and firmly, to keep His commandments, and to enjoy His blessings!

3. Telling about God’s grace (V20-23)

By telling the next generation about God’s works, our children and grandchildren will be able to hear about God’s wonderful grace and live in God’s blessings by following His laws and regulations! We should always tell our children about God’s wonderful grace and works. Let them know that what we have comes from God! In this way, our children will better appreciate God’s love and be willing to obey God’s will with a fearful and joyful heart.

Conclusion:

We should love our God with all our heart, soul, and strength, by doing what He commands, fearing His name, and speaking of His grace.
When we love God with all our heart, God will make it possible for us to receive benefits always, and we will experience God’s love and promises in good times and in bad times for all generations!

神喜悦我们赞美祂，因为当我们开口赞美神，祂就知道我们领受到祂的爱和恩典，生命充满了喜乐。当我们知道神是爱我们的神，我们就越要赞美祂！

一、赞美歌颂神的慈爱（V1-6）

这段经文是神的子民赞美祂爱祂的子民，因祂顾念被赶散的人和伤心的人，让在外流浪的人归回故乡。神重建耶路撒冷城，使流浪的心灵有安居之处，伤心人的伤口得着包裹，让人的身心灵得着医治。

神认识每一个人，记住每一人，就像祂数算过祂创造的星辰那样。无论是哪一个人，都是神的宝贝。只要人愿意谦卑来寻求神，神必带领他归回到祂的身边，治癒他、恢复他、提升他。只要我们能认真地认罪悔改，不再重犯旧错，慈爱的神必定扶持我们重新站立，在基督里有新的开始！

二、赞美感谢神的恩典（V7-11）

这段经文用了平凡的比喻来描写神对祂的百姓的恩典。就是神让大地充满祂的保守与祝福，使草生长，甚至喂养小乌鸦，这是靠我们的力量都无法完全做到的。

神不喜悦我们靠自己的方式和聪明，陷入‘自作聪明’。从箴言及诗篇，我们看见敬畏神的人必要得着智慧，懂得自己的有限，才知道要盼望神的慈爱，才能谦卑的信靠神，经历神丰盛的恩典！

三、赞美称颂神的话语（V12-20）

最后这段经文，是赞美神话语大有能力！经文说，固守城门与保守平安的基础，就是拥有神命令与祂律例典章的指示。经文也提到寒冷、阳光以及大风，帮助我们明白神话语的能力。只要我们信靠神，遵行祂的话，就必经历神话语的能力。

基督徒与不信者的其中一个差别在于，我们有圣经的教导可以思想，有圣经劝勉引导我们的生命。所以我们必须知道，能够和别人分享神的话语，是我们的福分，也让我们成为别人的祝福。因为，只有神的话语才能更新人的生命，让人的生命翻转!

总结：

我们都要赞美耶和华，因慈爱的神顾念所有被赶散的子民，医治伤心的人。神又施恩照顾祂的创造物，包括啼叫的小乌鸦。神还把祂的话语传给祂的子民，指示我们走在蒙福之道。

我们的神是配得万民大大赞美的神！

Psalm 147: We will praise the LORD

Introduction:

God delights in our praising Him, because when we open our mouths to praise Him, He knows that we receive His love and grace and our lives are filled with joy. When we know that God is the God who loves us, the more we praise Him!

1. Praise and Sing Praises of God’s Lovingkindness (V1-6)

This passage is the praise of God’s people that He loves His people, for He cares for the outcasts and the brokenhearted, and returns those who have wandered to their homeland. God rebuilt the city of Jerusalem, so that the wandering hearts may have a place to live, the wounds of the brokenhearted may be wrapped, and the bodies and minds of people may be healed.

God knows everyone, and remembers everyone, just as He has counted the stars of His creation. Every person is precious to God, no matter who he is. If a person is willing to humble himself and seek God, He will lead him back to Him, heal him, restore him, and promote up. If we can seriously confess and repent of our sins and not repeat our old mistakes, the loving God will certainly support us to stand again and have a new beginning in Christ!

2. Praise and thanksgiving for God’s grace (V7-11)

This passage uses mundane metaphors to describe God’s grace to His people. It is that God fills the earth with His keeping and blessing, makes the grass grow, and even feeds the little ravens, which no one in our strength can fully do.

God does not delight in our getting into ‘self-wisdom’ by our own ways and cleverness. From Proverbs and the Psalms, we see that those who fear God must gain wisdom and understand their own limitations in order to know to hope in God’s lovingkindness and to humbly trust in Him and experience the fullness of His grace!

3. Praise and praise the Word of God (V12-20)

This last passage is a praise for the power of God’s Word! It says that the basis for strengthening the bars of your gates and keeping the peace is to have the instructions of God’s commands and His statutes. It also mentions the cold, the sun, and the wind to help us understand the power of God’s Word. We will experience the power of God’s Word if we trust Him and obey His Word.

One of the differences between Christians and unbelievers is that we have biblical teachings to think about and biblical exhortations to guide our lives. So we must know that being able to share God’s Word with others is a blessing to us and makes us a blessing to others. For, only the Word of God can renew one’s life and turn it over!

Conclusion:

Let us all praise the LORD, for a loving God cares for all His people who have been scattered, and heals the brokenhearted. God is also gracious in caring for His creation, including the little raven that cries. God also preaches His word to His people, instructing us to walk in the way of blessing.

Our God is a God worthy of great praise from all nations!
