1. 信不过神，却求神迹 (V1-5）
摩西对神的呼召感到怀疑，担心以色列人不相信他真的被神差遣。这时，神赐给摩西第一个神迹：手杖变蛇。表明神可以掌控一切，让平凡成为超自然的见证。这是胜过仇敌（蛇代表撒但）的象征，也是神以实际行动坚定摩西信心的开始。
2. 人不满足，神不计较 (V6-9)
神并没有停止神迹，祂知道人的不信。也可能知道这群以色列人太久没经历神，所以神又赐给他两个额外的神迹：手掌得麻风又被医治，水变成血。这两个神迹分别象征神的医治能力和救赎能力。神没有责备摩西的疑虑，而是用具体的作为回应人的软弱。
3. 理由成堆，推辞不止 (V10-13)
摩西继续推辞，以自己“口才不好”为借口。神提醒他，是祂造了人的口，并且祂必与摩西同在，会教他该说什么。最终，摩西仍然表示不愿意，语气中是对神说，你差遣别人吧！神的怒气因此向他发作。
4. 软弱有限，拣选不变 (V14-17)
虽然摩西推辞，神仍然拣选他，并为他预备了帮助——亚伦。他们分工合作：摩西领受神的旨意，亚伦负责传讲。神甚至赐下权杖作为神迹的工具，表明祂的计划不会因人的软弱而改变。
小结：神有办法超越人的软弱，只要我们愿意信心回应。
1. 全家献上，跟随主意 (V18-20)
摩西接受了神的使命，但这使命并不是他一个人孤军奋战。经文提到，摩西带着妻子和两个 儿子一同前往埃及。这表明，神看重家庭的参与和同行，事奉不只是个人的召命，而是整个 家庭的献上。
2. 挑战不小，仍旧跟随 (V21-23)
神提醒摩西，他的任务并不轻松。法老的心本就刚硬，而神也会任凭法老的刚硬. 回应神的呼 召并不意味着一路平坦，反而可能有更多的挑战。但在每一个挑战中，神都为我们预备胜过 的方法。
3. 预备圣洁，不容妥协 (V24-26)
神在途中向摩西显现并且要杀他，因为摩西没有为儿子行割礼。割礼是亚伯拉罕之约的标志，是以色列人归属神的象征。神在差派人之前，首先要求圣洁，表明祂的事奉不能妥协。
4. 神有安排，同心事成 (V27-28)
神不仅呼召摩西，也预备了他的哥哥亚伦来支持和帮助他。神起头的工作，神负责作全面的安排。
摩西的回应过程提醒我们，神的呼召虽然充满挑战，但祂已经预备好属灵的同伴、圣洁的提醒和全家的同行，使我们能够完成祂的计划。面对不确定和困难，我们要全然信靠神的带领，以信心和顺服走出舒适圈，成为祂手中合用的器皿。

(1) Can’t believe in God, but ask for a miracle (V1-5)
Moses doubted God's call and worried that the Israelites would not believe that he was truly sent by God. At this time, God gave Moses his first miracle: his staff turned into a snake. Demonstrate that God is in control, making the ordinary a testimony to the supernatural. This is a symbol of victory over the enemy (the snake represents Satan), and it is also the beginning of God's practical actions to strengthen Moses' faith.
(2) Man is not satisfied, God does not fuss (V6-9)
God has not stopped performing miracles. He knows people's unbelief. They may also know that this group of Israelites had not experienced God for a long time, so God gave them two additional miracles: the leprosy on their hands was healed, and the water turned into blood. These two miracles symbolize God’s healing power and redemption power respectively. God did not rebuke Moses for his doubts but responded to man's weakness with specific actions.
(3) Piles of excuses, endless rejections (V10-13)
Moses continued to decline, citing his "not eloquence" as an excuse. God reminded him that He was the one who created man's mouth and that He would be with Moses and teach him what to say. In the end, Moses still expressed his unwillingness and said to God in his tone, "Send someone else!" God's anger was kindled against him.
(4) Weakness is limited, election remains unchanged (V14-17)
Although Moses refused, God still chose him and prepared a helper for him - Aaron. They divided the work: Moses received God's will, and Aaron was responsible for preaching it. God even gave a scepter as a miraculous tool to show that His plan would not change due to human weakness.
Summary: God has a way to overcome human weakness, if we are willing to respond with faith.
(1) Whole family dedicated, follows God’s will (V18-20)
Moses accepted God’s mission, but he did not do it alone. The scriptures mention that Moses took his wife and two sons with him to Egypt. This shows that God values the participation and companionship of the family, and that service is not just a personal calling, but the dedication of the entire family.
(2) Challenge is not small, still follows (V21-23)
God reminded Moses that his task would not be easy. Pharaoh’s heart was inherently hard, and God would allow Pharaoh’s hardness. Responding to God’s call does not mean that the journey will be smooth but may bring more challenges. But in every challenge, God provides a way for us to overcome.
(3) Prepare for holiness, without compromise (V24-26)
God appeared to Moses on the way and wanted to kill him because Moses had not circumcised his son. Circumcision is a sign of the Abrahamic covenant and a symbol of the Israelites' belonging to God. God requires holiness first before sending people out, showing that His service cannot be compromised.
(4) God has arrangements, accomplish with one heart (V27-28)
God not only called Moses but also prepared his brother Aaron to support and help him. God initiates the work, and He is responsible for making the overall arrangements.
Moses’ response reminds us that although God’s call is challenging, He has provided spiritual companions, holy reminders, and family companions to enable us to fulfill His plan. In the face of uncertainty and difficulty, we must fully trust in God’s guidance, step out of our comfort zone with faith and obedience, and become a vessel suitable for His use.
