愿我们都活出一个真正的“平安祭人生”!Leviticus 3 A Life of Peace OfferingGK611 Morning Devotion 02.07.2026 Speaker: Ps Daniel Kew I. Be Reconciled to God (Leviticus 3:1–5) 1. God Deserves Our Best (V1) The animal offered for the peace offering could be a bull, a sheep, or a goat, whether male or female, but it had to be without blemish. True peace begins when we surrender the lordship of our lives to God. It is not about giving God our leftover time, but offering Him our very best. The peace offering emphasizes a willing heart that joyfully presents what is most precious to God. 2. Peace Cannot Be Earned (V2–5) The worshiper had to lay his hand on the head of the sacrificial animal. This act symbolized, "This animal represents me." Today, we know that the ultimate Peace Offering points to Jesus Christ. Jesus bore the punishment for our sins in our place, reconciling us to God. True peace is not something we earn through our own efforts, but a gift made possible because Jesus became our substitute and brought us back into the Father's presence. II. Put God First (Leviticus 3:6–11) 1. God Values a Sincere Heart (V6) In ancient times, not everyone could afford to offer a bull; some families could only bring a sheep. God accepted different kinds of offerings because He does not require everyone to give the same thing—He requires everyone to be faithful. We should never look down on ourselves. God does not ask us to become someone else; He simply calls us to be His faithful children. 2. Give the Best to God (V7–11) Whether the offering was a bull, a sheep, or a goat, God required that all the fat belonged to Him. Although the sacrifices differed, one principle never changed: the best belongs to God. God does not lower His holy standard because someone is poor. What He desires is not wealth, but reverence. The most dangerous season in life is often not suffering, but prosperity. When life goes well, we easily forget God. Therefore, the peace offering reminds us that after receiving God's grace, we should respond with grateful hearts. III. Life Belongs to God (Leviticus 3:12–17) 1. Offer Your Whole Heart to God (V12–16) Three times God told His people that they could offer a bull, a sheep, or a goat, but one thing never changed: the fat belonged to the Lord. God was teaching them that He does not want merely outward religion; He desires the deepest part of our lives to belong to Him. When we surrender even the hidden rooms of our hearts to God, true peace flows from complete surrender. 2. Remember That Life Belongs to God (V17) Blood represents life. God forbade His people from eating blood to remind them that life is given by God and belongs to Him. The New Testament tells us that through the precious blood of Jesus, we receive life. Therefore, we should live in reverence before God and treasure the life He has given us. Today, we are called to respect life—our own bodies and the lives of others. Let us cherish our bodies, treasure our relationships, and value every day of the life God has entrusted to us. Conclusion: A Life of Peace Offering True peace is not found in possessing more, but in walking with God and living out His peace, becoming a tree of life that brings peace to others. May each of us live a genuine "Peace Offering Life."
