【立石为记 远离咒诅】

引言：

摩西用看得见的石头，使百姓明确的知道，并及时被提醒，使百姓遵守神的律例，进入蒙福，远离咒诅。

一、立石为记(v1-8)

摩西要他们在进入迦南之后要做的其中一件事，就是将律法写在石头上，将石头立起来。除了让百姓知道神的诫命并常常被提醒，也是为标志他们终于进入了神赐给他们的地，叫百姓谨记得到应许地是因为有神的带领。

二、宣布神旨(v9-13)

摩西吩咐百姓在立约的同时宣告「祝福」与「咒诅」。人对神话语的态度只有两种：一种是顺从，一种是悖逆。人若选择顺从，就接受祝福，反之，就只能接受咒诅。因此，我们要常常反省我们的生命是否有行在神的心意里。

三、远离咒诅(v14-26)

摩西以宣告咒诅为开始，相信是为了引起人的强烈警觉，也是预先防止百姓陷入堕落当中。

从爱神的层面：
第一个咒诅是对神不专的咒诅。

从爱人的层面：
第二个咒诅是轻慢父母的咒诅。
第三到五个咒诅是欺压邻舍的咒诅。
第六到第九个咒诅是关乎淫乱的咒诅。
第十及十一个咒诅是杀害生命的咒诅。
第十二个咒诅是不行律法的咒诅。

总结：

如今，我们要把神的话语刻在我们的心版上，使我们可以遵守神的命令。然而，神也知道我们无法靠自己行完律法，因此，祂差遣祂的儿子，为我们成为赎罪祭，使我们透过神的救恩，脱离咒诅，得着祝福！

Moses used visible stones to let the people know clearly and be reminded in time so that the people could abide by God's laws, enter blessings, and stay away from curses.

1. Set up Stones as Remembrance (v1-8)

One of the things Moses told them to do after they entered Canaan was to write the law on stones and set them up. In addition to letting the people know God’s commandments and being reminded constantly, it also signified that they have finally entered the land that God has given them and reminds the people to remember that the promised land is because of God’s leading.

2. Proclamation of God's Decree (v9-13)

Moses commanded the people to proclaim "blessings" and "curses" at the same time as the covenant was made. There are only two attitudes towards God’s Words: one is obedience, and the other is disobedience. If a person chooses to obey, he will receive blessings; otherwise, he will only receive curses. Therefore, we should always reflect on whether our lives are walking in God's will.

3. Stay away from curse (v14-26)

Moses started by proclaiming the curse, which is believed to arouse people's strong vigilance and in advance, prevent the people from falling into deprivation.

From the level of loving God

The first curse is not loyal against God.

From the level of loving man

The second curse is despising parents.
The third to fifth curses is the curse of oppressing one's neighbour.
The sixth to ninth curses are those related to fornication.
The tenth and eleventh curses are life-killing curses.
The twelfth curse is the curse of breaking the law.


Conclusion

Today, we want to engrave God's Word on our hearts so that we can obey God's commands. However, God also knows that we cannot fulfil the law by ourselves, so He sent His Son to be a sin offering for us so that we can break from the curse and be blessed through God’s salvation!
