引言：有热心，就够了吗？

一、事奉者，要敬畏神（利10:1-7）
1．不凭己意随便事奉（v1-2）
拿答和亚比户是受膏的祭司，也曾看见神的荣耀，却因献上神没有吩咐的凡火而被审判。他们的问题不是没有热心，而是凭自己的意思亲近神。事奉的重点从来不是“我觉得怎样最好”，而是“神怎样吩咐”。人的好意不能代替神的话，人的方法也不能高过神的心意。神的同在对顺服的人是荣耀，对轻慢的人却是审判。

2．亲近上帝更要敬畏（v3）
神说：“我在亲近我的人中要显为圣。”越亲近神的人，越要尊神为圣；恩典越大，责任也越重。今天我们因基督可以亲近神，却不可因此随便。服事越久，不应越习惯、越轻忽，而应越谦卑、越敬畏。我们所事奉的不是普通的组织，而是圣洁荣耀的神。

3．面对打击仍守岗位（v4-7）
亚伦失去两个儿子，以利亚撒和以他玛失去兄弟，却仍要留在会幕，继续承担祭司的责任。这不是否定他们的悲伤，而是提醒事奉者：环境虽然会影响情绪，却不能轻易夺去神的托付。事奉中会有挫败、误解和伤痛，真正的忠心，是在眼泪中仍然持守，在困难中仍不放弃使命。

二、事奉者，要明辨真理（利10:8-11）
1.保持清醒亲近上帝（v8-9）
神吩咐祭司进入会幕时不可饮酒，因为他们必须保持清醒。今天使人失去属灵清醒的，可能不是酒，而是忙碌、情绪、成功、掌声和自我满足。事奉者可能手中做着神的工作，心却渐渐远离神。因此，我们不能用服事代替亲近神，必须常常祷告、读经、省察，保持属灵的敏锐。

2．扎根真理明辨是非（v10-11）
祭司要分辨圣俗、洁净与不洁净，也要把神的律例教导百姓。今天教会的危机，往往不是缺乏热心，而是缺乏分辨。我们容易把有效当成正确，把受欢迎当成神喜悦，把多数人的意见当成神的带领。事奉者必须扎根神的话，才能分辨是非，也才能正确教导别人。恩赐可以吸引人，唯有真理才能建立生命。

三、事奉者，要顺服神（利10:12-20）
1．面对困难继续忠心（v12-15）
亚伦刚失去儿子，摩西仍吩咐他继续领受祭物、完成事奉。这提醒我们，事奉不是建立在情绪上，而是建立在神的信实与恩典上。困难可以改变心情，却不能改变神的托付。真正的忠心，是在最艰难的时候，仍靠着恩典回应：“主啊，我愿意继续。”

2．谨慎完成神的托付（v16-18）
摩西认真追问赎罪祭的处理，因为神的事不能抱着“差不多就好”的态度。热心若缺乏谨慎，就可能成为鲁莽；能力若没有忠心，也可能造成混乱。事奉者要在小事上认真，在细节上忠心，因为神不只看公开的服事，也看无人注意时的态度。

3.真实回应神的心意（v19-20）
亚伦因极深的悲痛没有吃祭肉，摩西听后便接受他的解释。这让我们看见，神所要的不是机械式的宗教表现，而是真实敬畏祂的心。事奉者不能任凭情绪控制，也不必用虚假的刚强掩盖软弱，而要把真实的光景带到神面前，寻求祂的心意。

总结：热心之外，神更看重我们的生命
拿答和亚比户不是没有热心，而是用自己的方式事奉神。神所寻找的，不只是愿意做事的人，更是敬畏祂、扎根真理、忠心顺服的人。我们不只要问：“我有没有服事？”更要问：“我的服事是否合神心意？”
热心能让人开始事奉，但唯有敬畏、真理和顺服，才能使人忠心到底。愿我们不只成为热心的事奉者，更成为神所喜悦的事奉者！

Introduction: Is Zeal Alone Enough?

I. A Servant Must Fear the Lord (Leviticus 10:1–7)
1.Do not serve God according to your own ideas (vv. 1–2) 
Nadab and Abihu were anointed priests who had witnessed God's glory, yet they were judged for offering unauthorized fire before the Lord—something He had not commanded. Their problem was not a lack of zeal, but that they approached God according to their own will. The focus of serving God has never been, "What do I think is best?" but rather, "What has God commanded?" Good intentions can never replace God's Word, and human methods can never surpass God's will. God's presence is glory to those who obey Him, but judgment to those who treat Him lightly.

2.The closer we are to God, the more we must fear Him (v. 3) 
God said, "Among those who approach Me I will be proved holy." The closer we draw to God, the more we must honor Him as holy. The greater the grace we receive, the greater our responsibility. Through Christ, we now have access to God, but we must never become casual in His presence. The longer we serve, the more humble and reverent we should become—not more familiar or careless. We are not serving an ordinary organization, but the holy and glorious God.

3.Remain faithful to your calling even in times of sorrow (vv. 4–7) 
Aaron lost two sons, and Eleazar and Ithamar lost their brothers, yet they were instructed to remain at the Tent of Meeting and continue to fulfil their priestly duties. This was not to deny their grief; rather, it reminded them that while circumstances might affect their emotions, they must not remove God's calling. Ministry will inevitably bring disappointments, misunderstandings, and pain. True faithfulness means continuing to stand firm through tears and refusing to abandon God's mission even in difficult times.

II. A Servant Must Discern the Truth (Leviticus 10:8–11)
1.Stay spiritually alert as you draw near to God (vv. 8–9) 
God commanded the priests not to drink wine before entering the Tent of Meeting so that they could remain clear-minded. Today, what robs us of spiritual alertness may not be alcohol, but busyness, emotions, success, applause, or self-satisfaction. A servant may be busy doing God's work while gradually drifting away from God. Therefore, we must never substitute ministry for intimacy with Him. We need to pray, read God's Word, and examine our hearts regularly in order to remain spiritually sensitive.

2.Be rooted in the truth to discern right from wrong (vv. 10–11) 
The priests were to distinguish between the holy and the common, the clean and the unclean, and to teach God's laws to the people. The crisis facing the church today is often not a lack of zeal, but a lack of discernment. We could easily mistaken what is effective for what is right, what is popular for what pleases God, and the opinion of the majority for God's leading. A servant of God must be firmly rooted in His Word in order to discern truth from error and faithfully teach others. Gifts may attract people, but only the truth builds lives.

III. A Servant Must Obey God (Leviticus 10:12–20)
1.Remain faithful through hardship (vv. 12–15) 
Although Aaron had just lost his sons, Moses instructed him to continue receiving the offerings and carrying out his priestly duties. This reminds us that ministry is not built on emotions, but on God's faithfulness and grace. Difficulties may change how we feel, but they cannot change God's calling. True faithfulness is being able to say, even in the hardest moments, "Lord, I am willing to continue."

2.Fulfil God's commission with care (vv. 16–18) 
Moses inquired how the sin offering had been handled because the work of God should never be approached with a "good enough" attitude. Zeal without carefulness can become recklessness, and ability without faithfulness can result in confusion. God's servants should be diligent in small matters and faithful in every detail, because God sees not only our public ministry but also our attitude when no one else is watching.

3.Respond sincerely to God's heart (vv. 19–20) 
Because of his deep grief, Aaron did not eat the sacrificial meat, and after hearing his explanation, Moses accepted it. This shows us that God desires more than mechanical religious performance—He desires a heart that truly reveres Him. A servant should neither be ruled by emotions nor hide weakness behind a mask of false strength. Instead, we should honestly bring our true condition before God and seek His will.

Conclusion: Beyond Zeal, God Values Our Character
Nadab and Abihu were not lacking in zeal; they simply served God in their own way. God is not merely looking for people who are willing to serve, but for those who fear Him, are rooted in His truth, and faithfully obey Him. We should not only ask, "Am I serving?" but also, "Is my service pleasing to God?"
Zeal may inspire us to begin serving, but only reverence, truth, and obedience will enable us to remain faithful to the very end.
May we not only become zealous servants, but servants who are truly pleasing to God.
